    Hi,

Usual problem - Wipers won't self park. Took motor apart - bit of water
inside - but essentially all OK. There are 2 copper contacts attached to the
gear housing on the motor - cleaned these up - still no joy.

Haynes manual shows diagram with 1 x electronic 8-pin relay - however, mine
seems to have 2 standard 5 pin relays under the dash (+ it has a rain sensor
on the window which Haynes doesn't show).

Anyone got a clue as to the wiring of the wiper circuit using 2 relays ?

    Cheers,
    Tim.

I can try to email you a wiring diagram if you like, but it may not be
specific to your car. I would need a few more details. However this
one may do. It shows two 5 pin relays and the rain sensor.

  5. The contacts you mention are usually the self park contacts and their
position can be moved to allow the wipers to park in a different part of the
    windscreen wiper arc.
