306 Recirculation Flap

    OK the motor that actuates this on my MkII with aircon has gone the
    way of all electricals. :-(

    How do I get at the flap to manualy poke it open and wedge it in that
    position?

    We no longer have our 306 but on our 406, which is probably similar, you
    remove the external grill in front of the windscreen on the passenger side
    (assuming right hand drive car). The flap is then reachable. We have had
    to do the same thing and found wedging unnecessary. The only time we have
    a problem is when we come up behind old Fiestas which seem to use oil for
    fuel rather than lubrication ;o)
