    Evening,

    I have recently acquired a 306 HDi, 99T, just passed 64,000 miles.
Should I be considering a cambelt change almost immediately?

    Thanks in advance,
    Tom.

  2. I would say so, yes. Manual says 96K, but 60K is a safer bet.

Yes 96K for mileage, but it is more than 5 years old so get it done as
soon as possible. And the auxilliary belt too.

My Citroen hdi advises change at 100,000 miles. Mine's done 71,000 and I
feel the need but just been quoted £289
for replacement - belt and rollers. It's a four and a half hour job
    according to the garagae.
