I bought a 306 meridian T reg a few weeks ago and was surprised to see that
it didnt have a cd changer, just the radio cassette, anyway, ive got one on
its way from ebay but just wondered, where is the factory position for them
in the car and where does the lead run??

Any help will be much appreciated.

It's fitted in the boot, adjacent to the inner N/S wheel arch, held by
a velcro type strap, which you may still be able to get from your
dealer. The cable is run down the N/S to the changer. Sometimes they
fitted it from new, and the end will be coiled up under the N/S rear
    seat (if you are lucky!!)
