306 Central locking

Discussion in 'Peugeot 306' started by christopher smiley, Nov 30, 2003.

  1. I have a 97 D-turbo 306 and there is a factory fitted alarm in it. It has a
seperate remote to arm and disarm the alarm and central locking. When i
press the button all the doors lock apart from the drivers door does anyone
    know anything about this?

Some cars don't have a motor on the drivers door, as usually the
driver has to use a key to get in, or broken wire in the door, due to
open and closing all the time.

Indeed, *lots of swearing* both my doors had either speaker or central
locking problems that required taking the doors off and reattatching all the
broken wires...nightmare...also a job that peugeot charge £300 for, so I'd
suggest doing it your self if that is the problem!
