    Hello,

My step-son turned up home the other day in his 206 GTI 180, booked in for me replace the top engine mount which was showing symptoms of needing replacement. As he arrived, he was leaving a trail of bright green coolant all over the driveway. I figured he'd overfilled the reservoir.

Today, I checked and there was no water, so filled it only to notice a leak start underneath. As per picture below, water is leaking through the torx head bolt and flows quite freely. I've attached the pictures in the hope that my feeble attempt at describing the location will be overlooked and someone might recognise the location. :) Photos taken from forward of the RHS wheel.

This is the first time I've worked on the EW10 engine, normally the XU10J4RS from my ever increasing pile of 306 GTI's.

So likely just a seal? Or something more sinister?

Appreciate any ideas or thoughts before I start cracking things apart.

    Cheers
