I'm having a problem with my 2006 206 GTI 180, I've had a auto electrican tell me that the stereo system in my car is the main computer after the ECU. I tried to install a aftermarket stereo in, I cut both black & white plugs & connected wires up to new stereo wiring harness, got all lights on dashboard, centre console LCD lights up but stereo won't turn on & car won't fire up. I live in Australia. Any suggestons will be very much apprecitated
