    Hey there,

So I bought a 205 GT yesterday and on the 350 mile drive home after about 300 miles the battery warning light came on and then after parking it up and trying to start it again it wouldn't. The starter motor doesn't even operate, all that happens is a little click from the fuse box. I tried jump starting it but that didn't work, but managed to bump start it. When trying to start it I had the headlights on and they didn't seem to dim when trying the ignition.

The previous owner also installed a new alternator only a couple of months ago so it presumably isn't that. Also, when it was idling at lights the battery warning light seemed to turn off.

If anyone has any ideas of things to try to at least diagnose the issue it would be wildly appreciated.

    Cheers
