Hi, can anyone help with a problem i have, when I put the key in the ignition it won't let me start it, it keeps saying there is a battery charge fault. I have replaced the battery but the fault keeps coming up. It's a petrol engine. I've had the car since new,

The newer Peugeots with stop/start are fussy about the battery. It needs to be the right type (usually AGM or EFB) and sometimes the new one has to be registered with a diagnostic tool so the battery sensor on the negative terminal knows it's there. I'd also make sure that sensor plug and both terminals are tight. Did the fault show up before the new battery went in or only after?
