Hi all !!! I will show you how to replace the starter motor on Peugeot 307 1.4 HDi . You can see that Peugeot 307 starter motor is not very accessable and the replacement looks a bit hard. But as long as you know where the bolts are located and how to reach them, the time needed to replace the starter motor is no more than an 1-2 hours ( if you have ready to go another starter) Peugeot 307 starter motor is located at the back of the engine, just above the CV driveshaft - it is attached to the engine block via 3 bolts 2x hex bolts, and 1x M8 bolt! Two of the starter motor holding bolts can be removed from the engine below (hex bolts), the last third one can be reached from the top side- M8 bolt (13 mm socket) via rachet, extension and joint swivel socket. For those who never did the job, on this particular car the below video will safe you a lot of time.
