Hi folks, my 1991 petrol 405 suddenly races like hell when cold, and only
when cold. Cant do anything to slow it down, not even by pulling pedal up.
As it comes off choke it slows down untill almost normail when almost warm.
Sticking throttle cable or more sinister? choke?
    Help much appreciated

take a look at the choke, and see if it can be ajusted some of the old
ones on a ford u could ajust.so you might be able to do it on your car

  3. You need to find out what controls the cold idle speed, if its a
vaccum pipe check for cracks etc.
