it may be a small car but its nippy and economical and good fun in the
    wet!!

    206 is boring by comparison

I agree (don't like them) but the Peugeot take on the style looks like it
could work well - bit unsure about the front on the concept pictures I've
seen but overall it doesn't look too bad.

Personally, I don't like the shape small cars are heading towards, even the
Saxo replacement has gone a bit hatchet-backed.

cant disagree with that... and that abomination from Nissan.. its
supposed to be a micra but looks like it was designed by porsche (in the
40's) but with sooo much less style n class...

think its no surprise peeps mod their cars they getting more n more bland
now, both in style and drive!! (imho of course)

I'm with you on that! A good case-in-point is the VW Golf - It's just an
overgrown barge of a car now - It's lost the "hot hatch" of its youth. In
fact, the current ones have less poke than the originals!!! More power but
    more lard.

    Hello,
True ! Looks like a 356, but with far *LESS* class IMO, but the 356 was
designed with a bit of 40's-50's standards (some points are of course
similar to a VW, but also to a Renault 4CV IMO).
I was surprised to see that a 2002 206 2.0HDi (with AC fit) was 30kg heavier
than a 1988 405 SRi, with no AC, but still... Yes mate, 1070kg ! When I
think my brother's '91 205 DTurbo is given for 925kg... 350kg less for
similar performances (fuel ammount, top speed) !

    Hello,
Doesn't seem that bad (and everyone here knows I don't really like japanese
cars), even if I don't like the clocks, which are at the center of the car -
I could write this about the 807 too, so that isn't a criteria.
Where the Yaris seems a bit above 106 IMO, is you can set up front seat as
you need. A friend of mine is just 1 2/3 yds tall and she says it's comfy to
drive (but as she previously had an old R5, she could say that of any other
car :) ). I'd like to give a try with my 2 yds and my "good old Pug
    standards".

  10. it may be a small car but its nippy and economical
106 is an excellent car. I have had my R plate XN for ages now, and it is
everything I want in a car.

Has production already stopped? When is the 107 due?

    Thanks,
    MS

    Hello,
I could tell the same about my 205. I don't like Diesel units fit to 106s,
    though.
I don't know whether production has stopped yet, but the 107 should be
released next year : it was announced to be released one year later than the
    C2.
