My wife got caught in flooding the other day. The engine took in water and stopped. Oil seeping from air filter leads me to consider the worst and it will only turn over by hand partially until it locks.
I don't have an injector socket but have removed the glow plugs but no water has come out of their holes on turning the engine by hand.
Just wondering do I need to remove the injectors to get any water out of the cylinder or will removing the glowplugs have the same effect. I 'm not hopeful but any sound advice appreciated.

hi! what you need to do is to take that engine apart because it has suffered a hydraulic lock, so most probably the con rods have become bent. sorry for that.
