406 SRi Turbo Question

Discussion in 'Peugeot 406' started by Deviant Devanti, Jul 26, 2004.

  1. Does anyone know what the standard boost pressure is for this car, and also
what is the T25's max rated BHP?

    Cheers

Well, Rover 620Ti uses T25 and makes 200bhp, so, at least 200bhp :) Ecosse
do a kit for making the engine run 200bhp if thats what you're after ;)

  3. Cheers Dan,

I also found out that the Mitsubishi Evo runs on a T25 and that produces
275bhp.. I emailed Turbo Technics and the guy I spoke to says that 20 psi
should be the boost threshold for the unit within saftely limits if I put
adifferent actuator on it as the factory one is too weak.

I want 230 bhp + 50 shot NOS, that should give UK Scoobies a run for their
money ! Just like the film Taxi 3

Good plan :) I think the internals need a little fettling before you get
boostolicous tho, find out what you need from ecosse, the try and buy it
sonewhere else 'cos they are expensive, although, they know what they're
doing and i suppose you get what you pay for :)

  5. Dan,

ecosse want £650 inc VAT for forged Pistons
HiFloHeads want £375 + VAT for gas flowed Ported head with bigger inlet /
    Exhaust valves

Then its a question of reprogrammable ECU, a dual boost controller,
competition fuel pump and possibly ford motorsport injectors (or larger
    injectors)..

Not to mention clutch and brake upgrade, wow this is gonna cost, would it be
worth doing or should I go for a Supra or some other Jap car?
